Mr. Pieper is in his 4th year as a Lincoln County R-3 School district band director.  He is the Director of Bands at Troy Middle School.  He directs the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade bands and also directs the Middle School Jazz Band, along with assisting with the Trojan Pride Marching Band.  

Mr. Pieper earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music and Master of Arts in Education from Truman State University.  He holds National Association for Music Education and the Percussive Arts Society memberships.  Before his appointment at Troy Middle School, Mr. Pieper taught in the Mehlville School District in St. Louis County for 9 years, and the Bowling Green R-1 School District for 3 years.  

Mr. Pieper is married to Meghan, and they have two children, Bennett and Eleanor.
