Dr. Kacey Kennedy
Assistant Choral Director
Department:Dr. Kacey Kennedy is an active researcher, clinician, adjudicator, and vocal music educator. She has served students in various levels, ranging from elementary to higher education, and has a wide array of research interests, including pre-service music education, music literacy, and curriculum. Dr. Kennedy has published in the Missouri School Music Magazine and has presented her research at state and national level conferences. She most recently served as Assistant Professor of Music Education and Director of Choral Activities at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL, where she taught courses in the Music Education degree plan and directed the Huntingdon College Concert Choir. Previously, Dr. Kennedy served as Director of Vocal Music in the Wentzville School District before pursuing her PhD in Music Education at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.
Currently, Dr. Kennedy resides in O’Fallon, MO, with her three-year-old son, dog, and two cats. When she is not elbow deep in school and research, Dr. Kennedy enjoys crocheting, visiting local parks, and listening to a true crime podcast! She is beyond thrilled to be joining the amazing faculty and staff at TBHS!
