Troy Buchanan High School

Shannon Martin is the Director of Choirs at Troy Middle School. Apart from her daytime role as a choir director, she co-directs the middle school musical theater productions and the competitive show choir, Tonali-T. 

Shannon Martin is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia. During her time at the university, she was a member of the Honors College, conducted research, held leadership positions in various organizations, and performed as a vocalist and instrumentalist in ensembles across the country and around the world. Shannon has presented at professional conferences, worked with community choirs, and teaches private voice lessons. 

She is a member of NAfME, MMEA, ACDA, MCDA, and Sigma Alpha Iota. 

Shannon Martin exemplifies a dedication to lifelong learning, leadership, and musical excellence, and considers it a privilege to work alongside the outstanding music educators, staff, and students at Troy.
